James McKenzie grew up in Ponsonby, Auckland, where weekend cricket matches and fish and chips on the waterfront shaped his laid-back Kiwi outlook. After finishing a degree in digital media at AUT, he spent five years working in sports journalism before pivoting to the iGaming space. When he's not reviewing online casinos, Ryan's either hiking the Waitakere Ranges with his border collie Scout, catching the Blues at Eden Park, or tinkering with his home-brew setup in the garage.
